Whether you are a Twilight fan or a DCFC Fan, I think this is pretty cool. Maybe no one cares, but I love Death Cab for Cutie. Yes, I fell in love with the band when they dominated the Indie music scene before becoming well-known (I hate when bands become well-known). Good for them though - Their band is making bank and the lead singer Ben Gibbard (great song writer, goofiest looking bloke ever) is engaged to Zooey Deschanel. Not too shabby. I hope the new song delivers. Their first album since signing the major record deal didn't take off mainstream as I thought it would have (rightfully so, check out Transatlanticism and Plans). However, you can't get any more MAINSTREAM then being featured in one of the most anticipated movies of the Fall. A movie that every teenage girl (plus me) will end up seeing twice in its first weekend. What, I just like Death Cab...
